Terms & Conditions

Egyptian Vibe — Private Egypt Tours

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Egyptian Vibe ("we", "us", "our") to clients ("you", "the traveller"). By booking a tour with Egyptian Vibe, you agree to these terms in full.

1. Bookings & Confirmation

All tour bookings are confirmed in writing via email or WhatsApp. A booking is considered confirmed when Egyptian Vibe sends a written confirmation and a deposit has been received. Verbal or informal arrangements do not constitute a confirmed booking.

  • A deposit of 25% of the total tour value is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the tour start date.
  • For bookings made within 14 days of the tour, full payment is required at time of booking.

2. Payments

We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, and other methods confirmed in writing. All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed. Egyptian Vibe is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or bank transfer fees charged by your financial institution.

3. Cancellation Policy — By the Client

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 30 days before tour: Full deposit refunded, less a 10% administration fee.
  • 15–30 days before tour: 50% of total tour value refunded.
  • 7–14 days before tour: 25% of total tour value refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before tour: No refund. We recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@egyptianvibe.com.

4. Cancellation or Changes — By Egyptian Vibe

In the unlikely event that Egyptian Vibe must cancel a tour due to force majeure (natural disaster, political instability, pandemic, or other circumstances beyond our control), we will offer either a full refund or alternative dates. We are not liable for consequential losses such as flights or accommodation booked independently.

We reserve the right to make minor itinerary adjustments if circumstances require (site closures, weather, etc.). We will always find equivalent alternatives and notify you promptly.

5. Our Responsibilities

Egyptian Vibe is responsible for:

  • Providing licensed, professional Egyptologist guides as confirmed
  • Arranging all transfers, hotels, and site entries as specified in your itinerary
  • Maintaining communication throughout your trip via WhatsApp
  • Responding promptly to issues or concerns during your tour

6. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Holding a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your travel dates
  • Obtaining any required visas for entry to Egypt
  • Arranging adequate travel and medical insurance
  • Arriving at agreed meeting points at the confirmed times
  • Disclosing any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary requirements before the tour
  • Behaving respectfully at all cultural and religious sites

7. Health, Safety & Liability

Egyptian Vibe takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients. However, we cannot be held liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death not directly caused by our negligence
  • Loss or theft of personal property
  • Delays or disruptions caused by factors outside our control
  • Acts of God, political unrest, or government decisions

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation coverage before travelling to Egypt.

8. Photography & Privacy

Some archaeological sites in Egypt charge separate photography fees or prohibit cameras in certain areas. Your guide will advise accordingly. Egyptian Vibe may photograph or film tour activities for marketing purposes — please inform us if you do not wish to appear in any materials.

9. Complaints

If you experience any issue during your tour, please notify your guide or contact us directly on WhatsApp (+201141217442) immediately so we can resolve it in real time. Complaints submitted after the tour may be more difficult to address. Written complaints can be sent to info@egyptianvibe.com within 14 days of your tour end date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.
